A traffic stop turned into a chase for one state trooper Friday night. Police say the officer pulled over a red Dodge pickup truck on US 41, near Riverside Drive, for driving without headlights. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver sped off down the road. Police were able to track the driver down on a farm access road. Officers surrounded a nearby soybean field. The suspect was seen in the field and was arrested. The suspect, 46 year old Jerry Dewayne Brown from Kentucky had two outstanding felony warrants out of Warrick County.
