Three people were killed earlier this week in a car accident in Illinois.
The crash happened early Thursday Morning. The crash occurred when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway to the left, striking a pole before coming to rest near a tree line.
Police reported two of the three passengers were thrown from the crash as a result of not wearing seat belts. The driver and two passengers died on scene.
Illinois State Police say the victims are the driver 21-year-old Skyler Williams of Lawrenceville, 20-year-old Kodey Burns, of Robinson, and a 13-year old boy of Vincennes.
23-year-old Morgan Wells, of Loogootee, was taken to a local hospital where she is expected to survive.
