North Daviess Cougar Tennis team defeated Owen Valley 5-0 at Owen Valley. Next up is the North Daviess invitational tomorrow at 10 am when the Cougars face Evansville Harrison
Barr Reeve boys tennis dealt Washington their first loss of the season winning 4-1 yesterday.  The lone win for the Hatchets came from Braden Kixmiller at #2 singles.
The Washington Hatchet Boys Soccer Team shut out Forrest Park on senior night last night 9-0.  Bryan Morales led the way with four goals.  Washington jumped out to a 6-0 lead at the half and never looked back.  The Hatchets will host the Hatchet Classic tomorrow.
The Washington Hatchet Volleyball team picked up their third win of the season knocking out North Knox in straight sets 25-20, 25-12, 26-24.  Washington JV also grabbed win number three in three sets.
Barr Reeve Volleyball team shut down Shoals in straight sets 25-5, 25-8, 25-9
The Loogootee Lions Volleyball team improved to 2-0 with a straight set win over NE Dubois on the road.
High School Football Season enters week one under the Friday night lights tonight.  The Washington Hatchets kick off the season at home under new head coach Joe Morris as they welcome in the Boonville Pioneers.  Kick off is set for 7:30pm, we will have live coverage starting at 7:15pm on Memories 107.9 your home for the Hatchets.

The Indianapolis 500 is this Sunday.  The 104th running of the big race can be heard beginning at 1pm on Memories 107.9fm.  We had a chance to talk to the track president Doug Boles yesterday, who told us about the tough decision not allowing fans and the race being held in August vs May this year…
Once again catch all the action from the track beginning at 1pm Sunday on Memories 107.9fm.  We will also have Carb Day coverage today beginning at 11am.    Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will look different to many as no fans will be packed into the grandstands on 16th and Georgetown for the 104th running of the Indy 500. But the show goes on as Marco Andretti is set to be the first member of his storied family to lead the field of 33 cars to the green flag since Mario in 1987. Andretti had the quickest Fast Friday car last week, and then the fastest four lap average speed on qualifying weekend to take the pole. Carb Day will put all 33 drivers to the test in the most realistic and intense practice leading up to The Greatest Spectacle in Racing. Action on the track will begin at 11:00 AM and close for the day at 1:30 PM.
The Indiana Pacers will enter Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Quarterfinals down two-games-to-none against the Miami Heat after losing 109-100 in Game 2 on Thursday.  Tip-off for Game 3 is set for 3:30 PM on Saturday in Orlando.
The St. Louis Cardinals returned home for the first time since their CoronaVirus postponements and defeated the Cincinnati Reds by a final of 5-4 with a three-run rally in the bottom of the 9th inning. Kolten Wong’s walk-off RBI single completed the comeback and propelled the Cardinals back to a .500 record at 7-7.
The Chicago White Sox continued their scorching hot stretch through the middle of August and completed their sweep of the Detroit Tigers from Guaranteed Rate Field on Thursday afternoon in a 9-0 shutout.  Up next for the Sox is a crosstown three-game match-up with the Cubs at Wrigley Field beginning tonight at 8:15 PM.
