The latest numbers are in. On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 955 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total number of positive cases to 83,277. The department also announced 11 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died from the virus to 2,979. So far, 945,471 Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19, and the current total positivity rate sits at 8-point-8-percent.
