The Indiana Association of School Principals has named Washington High School Principal Steve Peterson as the IASP District 11 Principal of the year. In making the announcement, Washington School Board President Randy Bouchie said Peterson had worked closely with WHS students, the staff, and the community to expand programming opportunities. Peterson has been responsible for the development of Washington’s new College and Career Academy that ensures students at Washington High School have opportunities to develop their talents and skills for the world after high school.

Peterson will be officially recognized at the IASP Annual State Banquet in Indianapolis on November 22.
