The Daviess County Health Department reports 646 cases of COVID-19 have now been diagnosed in Daviess County since the start of the pandemic. That’s up 41 cases from Monday. No additional deaths have been reported so that number remains at 27.
The Health Department reports there have been some improvement with the pandemic in Daviess County. According to the Washington Times Herald, the state has lowered Martin County and Daviess County from the orange category to the yellow category. As of Friday they have lifted all indoor visitation restrictions for nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They recommend contacting the facility before your visit as each one has their own visitation guidelines.
