A Vincennes man was killed in a crash in Lawrence County earlier this week. Illinois State Police identified the victim as 64-year-old Robert Shoulders of Knox County. Authorities reported that he was traveling south on Illinois Route 1 on a motorcycle Wednesday night when he swerved and struck the center of a median. This caused him to lose control of his motorcycle and resulted in the motorcycle sliding from the roadway and colliding with a guardrail. First responders were on the scene and took Shoulders to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
