Daviess County Election Results

Daviess County had a 67.48% voter turnout. For the County Recorders Office, Republican Rosetta Newton beat Democrat Yolanda Granger Bostic 81% to 19%.
For the School Board Dsitrict 1 Race, Timothy Hedrick beat Incumbent Peggy Stevens 55% to 45%.
For the seven canidates vying for the two Washington School Board at Large seats, the results are as follows…
(Incumbent) Board President Randy Bouchie received 28% of the votes
Derick Clarke received 8% of the votes
Kyle Cornelius received 27% of the votes
Barbara Duncan received 5% of the votes
Kelly J. Garland received 19% of the votes
Kenny Key received 3% of the votes
Alex Portee received 10% of the votes
Randy Bouchie and Kyle Cornelius take the two seats on the Washington School Board at Large.
Daviess County is covered by House Districts 62, 63 and 45.
Republican Bruce Borders ran unopposed for District 45.
Republican Jeff Ellington won District 62. He had 60.4% of the votes and Democrat Alyssa Bailey had 39.6%. That is with 98% of precincts reported.
Republican Shane Lindauer cruises to reelection for 63 as he received 73.8% of the votes. Democrat challenger Teresa Kendall received 26.2% of the votes. That is with 96% of precincts reported.
For the Governors race, Republican Governor Eric Holcomb received 70% of the votes. Libertarian Candidate Donald Rainwater received 13% of the votes, and Democrat Candidate Doctor Woody Myers Received 12% of the vote for Daviess County.
President Donald Trump received 80% of the vote in Daviess County and Democrat challenger Joe Biden received 18% of the vote. Libertarian Jo Jorgeson received 0.18% of the votes.
