Fall Taxes are due next Tuesday November 10

TREASURER’S OFFICE DUE DATE RAPIDLY APPROACHING
The Daviess County Treasurer would like to remind everyone that fall taxes are due next Tuesday, November 10th. Only four business days remain. The office is open Thursday & Friday of this week, and Monday & Tuesday next week from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. to accept payments. Please remember that the Treasurer’s office is now located in the new Government Center. Officials ask that everyone wear a mask and to please remember to bring your tax statements with you.
Taxpayers are urged to mail early because some mail deposited late on November 10th might not be postmarked until the next day. The penalty is determined by the postmark on the envelope. Payments postmarked or made in person after November 10th will automatically incur a penalty.
Credit card payments can be made through www.govtechtaxpro.com or by calling 844-678-1656. Payments can also be made by credit or debit card or e-check for the convenience of the taxpayer.
Due to many unforeseen circumstances, the Treasurer’s office will not be offering Saturday hours this week.
With the ongoing pandemic, the Treasurer’s office highly encourages taxpayers to mail their payments for everyone’s safety.
