One annual event is still ago for the Holiday season. The Princeton Christmas Parade is still scheduled to be held on Saturday, December fifth in downtown Princeton. This year has a unique theme as it will highlight essential workers who are serving the community during the pandemic. The theme is called, “An Essential Christmas.” There will be a few changes. The route will be redesigned to allow for social distancing. Santa Clause will be present in the parade, but there will be no visits following the parade like in previous years. Residents are invited to decorate their own vehicles and participate in the parade. Call the Gibson County Visitors and Tourism Bureau at (812)-385-0999 to enter. The Loogootee Annual Christmas Stroll, Lighted Christmas Parade, and Tree Lighting are also set for December 5th.
