On Tuesday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 5,541 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve been infected with coronavirus to 262,207. The department also reported 84 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died because of the virus to 4,770. So far, over 3.6-million Hoosiers have been tested for coronavirus. The state’s current overall positivity rate sits at 6.7-percent, meanwhile the state’s current seven-day positivity rate sits at 12-percent.
