COVID cases continue to ruse across the state. On Thursday, the Indiana State Department of Health reported 7,420 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That’s another new, single-day record for positive cases. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 to 275,503. The department also reported 59 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died due to coronavirus to 4,889. So far, over 3.7-million Hoosiers have been tested for coronavirus. The state’s current overall positivity rate is at 6.8-percent, while the state’s current seven-day positivity rate sits at 12.1-percent.
