Brenda L. King, 73, passed away at her residence on Sunday December 27th, 2020.
Brenda was born at Daviess County Hospital on August 1, 1947, the daughter of Marion Henry and Lula (Fidler) Hoops. She married Raymond E. King on November 21, 1986 and preceded her in death on December 11, 2020.
Brenda was a graduate of Monroe City High School and a member of the Monroe City First Church of God. Her most cherished times was spending time with her granddaughter Madison. She also enjoyed cooking and baking giving them to family and friends.
Survivors include her children Kenneth Osborn Jr. and his wife Peggy of Vincennes, Tracey Reed and her husband James of Monroe City; her grandchildren Madison Reed, Erick Valone, Nikki Valone; and her great grandchildren Avery Valone and Kason Cruz.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and siblings William Hoops and Bob Hoops.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until the service time on Saturday. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Brenda King.
