Lawmakers to vote on plan to fully pay for Indiana schools

The next vote on the plan to fully pay for Indiana schools is coming this week. Lawmakers in Indianapolis are moving to change state law to allow schools that moved online-only to get 100-percent of their state aid. The law currently caps schools that don’t have at least 50-percent of classes in-person to just 85-percent of their state money. The proposal saw a vote on a committee last week and will get a vote in a committee this week. Governor Holcomb supports the proposal.
