The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID-19 numbers for the area yesterday. 50 more cases of the virus have been confirmed since Friday. That brings the total case count since April of 2020 to over 2,700. No additional deaths have been reported so that number remains at 74. 10,743 residents have been tested in the county to date. Daviess, along with Knox, Dubois, Pike, and Gibson County are still in “red” status on the state map.
