A Cannelburg man was found deceased on the roadside yesterday. Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison reported that the office recived a call around 11am Thursday that a body was lying near the roadway in the area of CR 900 E and CR 700 S just West of Alfordsville. The deceased was identified as 56-year-old Edwin Harris of Cannelburg. He was located about 1200 feet from his residence. Investigators believe that exposure to the elements was a contributing factor and no foul play is suspected. An autopsy has been scheduled.
