The Big Ten officially announced that the conference’s men’s basketball tournament will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis next month instead of in Chicago. The 14-team event will take place March 10th through March 14th and the move will make it easier for conference teams that make the NCAA Tournament, which will be played entirely in Indiana. The Big Ten women’s basketball tournament is also scheduled for Indianapolis and the conference said having both tournaments in the same city will allow for cohesive testing and medical protocols for both events, as well as centralized accommodations.
