More Hoosiers will become eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Indiana Health Commissioner Doctor Kris Box announced Wednesday that people who are between 60 and 64 will be eligible for the vaccine, followed by people who are 50 and older once the state receives more doses. Dr. Box also announced that people with certain medical conditions like Down syndrome, those with sickle cell anemia, people in cancer treatment, and people on dialysis will also be eligible. As of Wednesday, more than 785 thousand Hoosiers had received at least one dose of the vaccine.
