Michelle (Hopkins) Hinkle, 59, of Washington, IN passed away on Monday February 15, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on October 20, 1961 to Hubert M. and Eleanore (Smith) Hopkins in Jasper, Indiana.
Michelle loved nursing, traveling, swimming, and fishing. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and hummingbirds. Michelle was a member of the VFW Post 120, the American Legion, and a life- long member of St. Mary Catholic Church Barr Township. She was a generous character and always helpful to others.
Michelle is preceded in death by her parents; Hubert and Eleanore Hopkins, and her twin sisters; Jane and Jean.
She is survived by her husband Gary Hinkle, her step-children; Michelle (Mike) Hinkle Kavanaugh, Matthew Hinkle, Amy (Brent) Hinkle Cline, Step – Grandchildren; Haley (James) Hester, Elaina (Jordan) Kolberstein, Cameron Kavanaugh, Kayden Hinkle, Kolton Hinkle, Zander Hinkle, Mattox Hinkle, Allison Cline, Mya Cline, her Great – Grandchildren; Isaac and Samuel Hester, her siblings; Trina Hopkins, Raymond (Kim) Hopkins, Francis (Amy) Hopkins, Marie ( Steve) Sweet, John T. Hopkins, Denise (Mark) Wagler, Mark Hopkins, Lisa A. (Eric) Jones, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker at 10:00 A.M Saturday February 20, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee, IN. Burial will follow at St. Mary Barr Township.
Visitation will be held Friday February 19, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.
