Joshua W. Thompson, 34, of Lawrenceville, passed away at 9:25 am Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
He was born February 13, 1987 in Vincennes, Indiana to Jeff and Theresa (Deisher) Thompson.
Josh worked as a boilermaker, also had worked at Gemtron for many years, and loved being a stay at home dad. A member of the Rising Sun Christian Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding ATVs with his brothers. Josh was an outstanding man, loving husband, son, brother, and was thought of as a shining light by his family and will be missed. Josh was best buddies to his dad and brothers.
Surviving are his wife Whitney (Carson) Thompson whom he married on August 13, 2019; children Ryden Ivers, Ryker Ivers, and Maxwell Thompson; his parents Jeff and Theresa Thompson of Vincennes; brothers Jeffery Thompson and his fiancé Carrie Bloebaum of Flat Rock, IL, and Joey Thompson and his wife Azzle of Russellville, IL; and his nieces and nephews Tyler Thompson, Taiylar Thompson, Katie Thompson, and Dixie Thompson.
