According to the Washington Times Herald, three individuals were rescued from a stranded vehicle on Monday.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department said they received a call from the driver of a Chevy Malibu who had become stranded in flood waters.
The car was stuck on Old Vincennes Road which is currently closed due to high flood waters.
The Sheriff’s Department says they had to call Washington Township Fire Crews and Knox County to get to the vehicle as the waters were too shallow for their boat.
No injuries were reported.
Police remind residents to never drive through flood water.
