Indiana State Police arrested a man over the weekend after he drove the wrong way on the highway.
On Saturday night at around 11:35, a state trooper was patrolling northbound US 41 in Gibson County when he observed the driver of a Toyota Highlander traveling the wrong way in the passing lane.
The trooper activated his lights but the driver didn’t stop.
Instead, the driver increased speed and began passing several cars.
The trooper had to pass the driver and block both lanes with his car to force the driver to stop.
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Macray Robinson of Fort Branch.
Robinson displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests.
Further investigation revealed Robinson had a blood alcohol level of .16%.
Robinson was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail where he is being held on bond.
