Robert R. Osborne, 72, of Loogootee, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at his home along with his grand dog, Shorty Boy.
He was born January 22, 1949 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late James M. Sr. and Elloise (Roberts) Osborne.
Robert loved his grandchildren and playing with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and grilling.
He was preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Roxanna Faye Groff Bombrisk Osborne; daughter, Debora Stewart; parents, James and Elloise Osborne; brothers, James Edward Osborne and James M. “Chade” Osborne; nephews, Jeremy Osborne, Jason Seitz and Ian Martin.
Robert is survived by his children, Tammy (Wayne) Ritchey of Loogootee, Emily Osborne of Alfordsville and Andrew Osborne and fiancé, Rachelle Love, of Loogootee; grandchildren, Brookelinn Rose Osborne, Kylar James Dare, Jaxon Andrew Osborne and Avaya Faye Osborne; siblings, Charles L. Osborne of Loogootee, Don (Brenda) Osborne of Washington, Marvin (Debbe) Osborne of Loogootee, Mariann (Ali) Hamzeh of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Brenda K. (Mike) Sanders of Oaktown; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
