You can join the Daviess-Martin CISMA and Indiana DNR for a hands-on volunteer workday on Saturday May, 15th.
Volunteers will learn how to identify and remove Amur Honeysuckle bushes and other invasive plants.
The group will meet at the Maintenance Shop, located just north of the Glendale FWA office on 600 South.
Work begins at 10am and will run until noon.
Organizers ask that those attending bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, water, and a face mask.
Hand tools will be provided for pulling and cutting shrubs, but volunteers may also bring their own.
