Pike County has been awarded another COVID relief grant.
The Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) announced that Pike County has been awarded $250,000 from the Phase 3 of the COVID-19 Response Program.
Pike County was awarded $60,000 from Phase One back in July of 2020.
Officials say the funds will be used to offer individual grants to local businesses.
$10,000 will go to a minimum of 25 small businesses within Pike County.
Officials say the assistance is to alleviate some of the hardships caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
Application requirement information will be sent out at a later date.
