Nearly 1.7 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated, according to the Indiana Dept. of Health.
An additional 2.25 million have received their first shot.
Ohio County is Indiana’s first to have more than half of its eligible residents fully vaccinated.
Another five counties — Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Hancock, and Warrick — have gotten the first dose to more than half of those who are eligible.
