Floyd Paul Kamplain age 91 of Washington passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at The Villages at Oak Ridge.
Floyd was born on May 18, 1929 in Crawford County, Illinois to Flossie (Reynolds) and Claud Duval Kamplain. He was the owner and operator of Kamplain Trucking from which he retired. He was a member of Wheatland Christian Church. He loves playing music and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Lois (Bush) Kampain who he married February 19, 1949; three daughters Cathy Murdock of Lerna, IL, Betty (Dean) Hetzel of Effingham, IL and Barbara (Troy) Stoll of Edwardsport; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; six brothers and son-in-law Jerry Murdock.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel, 620 E. Viola Avenue Washington, Indiana 47501 and Monday, May 3, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services will be Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel with Pastor Brent Cramer officiating. Burial will follow at Sugarland Memory Garden.
