A local business is changing hands after serving the community for over a century.
Daily’s Furniture is located on Main Street in Washington and has provided furniture for the community for over 120 years.
Susan Leighty’s family has owned the business since the beginning in 1901. Susan, who has operated the store for over 40 years, says the business was started by her great grandparents.
She stopped in to share the news with us yesterday..
While the store has sold, Susan noted that she left the business in good hands.
Many of the faces you have become used to seeing will still be around.
Daily will also still be featured in the name as the new name will be “Daily Design”.
Susan Leighty noted that many new and exciting things will also be coming to the store…
