Good Samaritan has announced the arrival of a new physician.
Vetta Higgs, MD, specializes in Oncology and Hematology.
Dr. Higgs earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama.
Growing up, Dr. Higgs always had a love for science and helping others. “I looked at medicine as a calling,” she said. “It is both challenging and rewarding.”
In her free time, Dr. Higgs enjoys being with her family and friends.
She also loves to travel, complete home projects and read.
Dr. Higgs is now accepting new patients at Good Samaritan’s Cancer Center.
