Janet L. Burris, 78 of Washington, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
Janet was born on October 11, 1942 in Washington, IN to the late Donald McCain and Donna Jones McCain.
Janet was a member of Aikman Creek Baptist Church and loved her family, and church family. Janet was an avid fisher and came from a family of fishermen and she enjoyed the country life; she particularly enjoyed her job at Glendale State Park where she worked as a secretary at the check in station.
Janet is survived by; her loving children, Shana Birk (Mark), David D. Burris; grandchildren, Evan Birk, Tyler Burris (Keith Whitaker), Bree Birk; and a sister, Mary Jo Gregory; and her beloved dogs, Sassy and Susie.
Janet was preceded in death by; her parents, and her sister Melba Kendall (Tommy) Kendall.
