There’s some cleaning-up to do in the area after a round of strong storms.
Forecasters say yesterday afternoon’s storms did some damage in Pike and Gibson counties.
The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado in Pike County near I-69 around Alford.
Overall, two separate funnels were reported and no warnings were issued.
A 17-year-old in Gibson County sustained minor injuries when a roof was blown off a shed. No other injuries were reported.
Forecasters say there’s another chance for strong thunderstorms throughout today and tomorrow.
