Beverly Ann Polzin

Mrs. Beverly Ann Polzin, 81 of Washington went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 12. 2021 while surrounded by loving family.

Beverly was born in Daviess County on August 12, 1939 to the late Oliver Charles and Minnie Schooley Charles. She was married to Roy Allen Polzin on October 18, 1975 and she remains the love of his life.  

Beverly was an owner and operator of a local establishment in Washington for 10 plus years; she enjoyed socializing and traveling. Beverly could often be found attending the horse races with her husband and they also found it fun to occasionally go to the casino. Beverly was a member of the Chapter 247 Eastern Star, Women of the Moose, Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion, VFW Auxiliary, and the Elks.

She is survived by; her husband, Roy A. Polzin; daughters, Treva Mulligan (Jim), and Drenda Kay Kendall; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Sandy Polzin; and a sister, Gail Burkhart (Earl).

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Grace Charles, Gloria Bassler, Marcella Gray, Steve Charles, and Oliver “Bud” Charles; a step-son, Guy Polzin; and 2 grandsons, Kyle Ryan Kendall and Matthew William Kendall.

There will be a visitation on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Gill Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a service immediately following also at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens. You may leave an online condolence at www.gillsince1872.com.
