Sgt. Hillenbrand has been sworn in as the Interim Police Chief of the Vincennes Police Department.
Interim Chief Hillenbrand has worked for the Vincennes Police Department for 18 years.
He is also one of the department’s firearms instructors and has also served as a Field Training Officer.
In addition, Hillenbrand is a former Vincennes Police Deparmtent Detective.
For the past three years, Interim Chief Hillenbrand has served as a School Resource Officer for Vincennes Lincoln High School.
He will officially become the Vincennes Police Department Chief in mid-July.
