Edward Lane Myers, 67 of Union, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Waters in Princeton, Indiana.
He was born on May 22, 1954 in Washington, Indiana to Sherman and Melba Myers.
He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1972.
He worked at the county garage for 32 years. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Union Fire Department for 17 years. He really enjoyed eating at Sullivan’s Grocery Diner in Union, Indiana. He really enjoyed helping plant crops with his friends Kevin and Pat Western. He loved spending time with his grandkids and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dian Myers, and brother-in-law Dan White.
He is survived by: daughter Amanda Kerns (Sam Norrington); son Chris (Karen) Myers; twin brother Ted and brothers David and Terry (Ellen) Myers; grandkids Devin Kerns, Dezi Kerns (Eric Truitt), Lane Kerns, Summer Myers; nieces Jessica Myers, Stephanie Myers, Kelly (Bill) McCandless, and Grace Robling; nephews Davie Myers, JS Myers, and Lukeus Robling; Great nieces Melody Hammel, Myla Miller, Ryley McCandless, Jessika Myers, and Alexis Myers; great nephews True Hammel, Jordan Myers, Aiden McCandless, and Logan Myers; and former wife Pamela Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Union Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time.
