The Daviess County Board of Commissioners met yesterday for their regular meeting.
The board heard a county insurance update. They agreed to increase the specific deductible to $85,000 and to add the fully insured transplant policy for $18,000.
The Commissioners also heard an update from the highway department on the 900 East project. Project management said the project is moving along well. Officials reported that they are working on milling as well as several culvert replacements. To view 900 E detour maps, visit daviess.org.
The board also approved a Grant Renewal application for Community Corrections and a $60,000 grant for Justice Partners Addiction Response.
In addition, the board agreed to review quotes from Bill Dobson Ford and the Washington Chrysler Center for new trucks for the highway department.
