A man is facing several charges after he was arrested at a Princeton Park.
Around 8:30 pm Saturday night, Gibson County Police were called to Lafayette Park in Princeton regarding a suspicious male.
Someone reported an unknown person was attempting to break in to one of the locked park buildings.
Officers then went to the park and found 30-year-old Trevor Henson of Mount Carmel attempting to work on his overheated Buick sedan.
Officers believed Henson was intoxicated and began a search of the vehicle.
They found a hypodermic needle, a stolen Springfield 9 mm handgun, and Methamphetamine.
Henson was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Theft of a Firearm, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.
He remains in custody on a $2500 bond.
