A Sullivan County man was arrested Sunday because police say he threatened his ex-wife and led police on a chase.
A woman called police Sunday afternoon and said her ex-husband, 30-year-old Johnny Turpin Jr., held a pair of scissors against her throat and cut a small incision.
Later, police say they tried to pull Turpin over, but he drove off and a chase ensued.
Investigators say he was eventually caught and arrested.
He is charged with Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Intimidation with A Deadly Weapon, Theft of a Firearm, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
