A man who has a rape trial scheduled for this October in Knox County, has been arrested again for rape in Evansville.
24-year-old Ricardo Civil was arrested Saturday.
The victim tells police that they met Civil on a dating app.
She says she wanted Civil to drop her off in downtown Evansville, but he instead took her to an apartment and raped her.
She says he may have recorded the incident as well.
A search warrant of Civil’s apartment revealed several items that were consistent with the victim’s story.
Civil is being held without bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
