Washington Community Schools is calling on parents to check their kids for COVID symptoms before sending them off to school.
They say parents need to be attentive to the daily health of their children and monitor them for signs of a fever among other symptoms.
Parents are being asked to complete a COVID-19 Parent Assessment Tool each day before sending students to school.
School leaders remind students and staff that they should remain home if they have been in close contact with someone in their household that has COVID-19 symptoms.
Officials say they should also remain at home if they are being tested for COVID-19, have a fever of 100° or more, and are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
