Good Samaritan Hospital has updated their visitation restrictions.
Hospital officials say that due to the significant increase in COVID-19 transmission in the community, they have decided to make some immediate changes.
The most notable change is limiting outpatient surgery and medical practice patients to one visitor only.
The hospital also asks that all non-essential visitors please refrain from visiting Good Samaritan facilities at this time.
This includes anyone who is not visiting or assisting a patient.
As a reminder, Good Samaritan asks everyone to do their part to stay safe and keep others safe when attending medical appointments.
They say if you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please call ahead to your provider’s office prior to coming inside the building.
They also ask that you wear a mask, as is required at the hospital, and consider virtual appointments if possible.
