Vincennes Police have located a wanted theft suspect.
The department announced yesterday they were requesting the public’s help in locating 34-year-old Michael Shelton of Bicknell.
Shelton was wanted for his involvement in several Northern Knox County vehicle thefts and burglaries.
He was found last night and booked into the Knox County Jail without bond.
He is charged with Escape from Lawful Detention and a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence.
Police do not believe he is the only one involved in the series of thefts.
Police continue to advise Knox County residents to make sure all doors and windows are secured.
