The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department is warning the public of a scam on Facebook.
The Huntingburg Regional Airport is reporting that it has been contacted twice regarding a fake advertised position on Facebook Jobs.
The position title on the job ad is for an “Airport Security Screener”.
Huntingburg Airport Manager Travis McQueen says the posting is a scam and advises residents to avoid providing any personal information to anyone.
He added they don’t have and never have had security positions at the Huntingburg Regional Airport.
