Emergency Crews responded to a semi fire Sunday afternoon.
The fire was reported at the intersection of HWY 57 and HWY 358 in Elnora around 4:30 pm.
Upon arrival, crews say they found the semi and attached trailer both fully engulfed in flames.
The driver said he was ejected from the truck after hitting a tree.
He was found conscious near the area and was airlifted from the scene.
No other passengers were in the semi.
Multiple units were on scene and fire crews were able to extinguish the flames.
