Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is expected to miss multiple games with a neck injury. Coach Frank Reich said it’s a disc issue for the 10-year veteran after Hilton re-aggravated an injury during practice last week. Reich said that quarterback Carson Wentz and left guard Quenton Nelson are expected to take part in full-team drills at today’s practice. Both underwent foot surgery four weeks ago and had been limited participants last week. Nelson is expected to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list today after a close contact.
Luis Robert homered twice, and the Chicago White Sox dominated the Chicago Cubs 13-1. The Sox chased Kyle Hendricks in the fifth with a seven-run inning. Dylan Cease shut down the Cubs offense with 11 strikeouts over six innings of four-hit ball.
Jesus Sanchez homered in the first inning, and it was all the offense the Marlins needed, as Miami defeated the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 Sunday afternoon. The Reds lead the Padres by 1 ½ games for the last wild card spot in the National League.
The Cleveland Indians scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to come back and beat the Boston Red Sox 7-5. Austin Hedges hit a solo home run to tie the game. Later in the inning, Oscar Mercado scored the go-ahead run after he was awarded home plate on an obstruction call.
