Indiana State Police is accepting additional applications for the 82nd Recruit Academy.
Applicants must be a United States citizen, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old and less than 40 years of age, meet minimum vision standards, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to reside and serve in any area of the state.
Applicants will complete the Physical Abilities Test, Written Examination, and Oral Interview in one weekend on October 2nd and 3rd at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield, IN.
Recruits are offered health benefits and a lifetime pension after 25 years of service.
Student loan forgiveness programs are also being offered.
