Daviess County had the fourth lowest unemployment rate in the state in August. Daviess checked in at 2.6% which is down from last year’s unemployment rate of 3.8%.
Dubois County came in at 2.7% down from last year’s 4.9%.
Martin County came in at 2.8% down from last year’s 4.3%.
Gibson County checked in at 3% down from last year’s 5%.
Knox County was also down. Knox was at 3.4% last month which was down from the 5.4% last year.
Lastly Pike County checked in at 3.8% in August which was down from last year’s 5.6%.
