A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder, in connection to a fatal shooting in Evansville on Friday.
Police say Samajui Barnes was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail Friday night.
According to Evansville police, Barnes will be charged as an adult.
Police say 37-year-old Jonathan Stitts was shot multiple times on 1300 Parrett Street around 8:00 am.
Detectives spent Friday afternoon looking for more clues that may help determine exactly what happened.
Witnesses say they saw four people run from the scene and one car take off.
As of Friday, police say two suspects — including Barnes — are in custody.
