The Daviess County Health Department in partnership with Washington Community Schools will be holding a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic today, at the Washington Jr. High Gym. The clinic will be open from 1 pm to 3:20 p.m. for students and staff. Beginning at 3:30 the clinic will be open to the general public over the age of 12. The Clinic will run to 6:00 p.m. this evening. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available. If you are under 18, you can only receive the Pfizer vaccine. The vaccine are free, you do not need insurance to receive one. However, if you have insurance, you are asked to bring your insurance card with you because your insurance can reimburse the county for the vaccine at no cost to you.
