All Washington City and Daviess County offices and departments will be closed on Monday, October 11, for the Columbus Day holiday. In the City of Washington, there will be no trash pickup on Monday, and the city bus will not operate. Washington’s recycling center will be closed Saturday October 9, as well as, October 11. Washington residents with regular Monday trash pick-up should have their trash ready for pick up by 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12.
