Good Samaritan will be offering the community several opportunities to receive a flu vaccine in October. Good Samaritan Community Health Services will be hosting a flu vaccine clinic for adults age 19 and older on October 12, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Community Health Services located at 615 Dubois Street in Vincennes.
Those wanting a flu vaccine need to make sure to bring their insurance card and ID. Medicare and Medicaid will be accepted, as well as select commercial payers. Masks are required.
The Good Samaritan Physician Network will also be offering drive-through flu vaccine clinics for adults age 19 and older in the parking lot next to the Medical Center of Vincennes, 406 N. First Street in Vincennes. Patients can receive the flu vaccine on Wednesday, October 13, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Monday, October 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. A mask will be required to be worn while receiving the vaccine, and patients will need to have ID and insurance card.
For those adults who cannot attend a designated clinic time, Community Health Services can also offer adults the flu vaccine by appointment. Call 812-885-8753 to schedule an appointment to receive the flu vaccine.
Good Samaritan Pediatrics is also organizing a flu vaccine clinic for patients at both of their locations. Dr. Heather Nichols patients at GSPN Kids can receive their vaccine on October 7, 12 and 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 514 S. Ninth Street in Vincennes. Pediatric patients of Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Suanes can receive their flu vaccines on October 26 and 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. in their office located at 528 N. First Street in Vincennes.
